PROUDLY ACCREDITED & ASSOCIATED WITH

Our Legal Fees

How much is probate in QLD? The overall cost of Probate in Queensland is made up of professional fees, court charges, and mandatory advertising expenses.

Most law firms calculate their professional costs for obtaining a Grant of Probate according to the scale set out in legislation, which varies depending on the gross value of the estate. This figure does not take into account property or other assets owned jointly with another person.

At QLD Probate, we do things differently. We offer fixed-fee probate services, giving our clients certainty and peace of mind from the outset. Below is a full breakdown of our cost of probate in QLD and inclusions.

Supreme Court Filing Fee Breakdown

Application for Reduction of Fees by an Individual

In Queensland, if you are unable to pay the Supreme Court filing fee, you may be eligible to apply for a reduction through an Application for Reduction of Fees by an Individual. To qualify, you must hold a current concession card, such as a Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, Commonwealth Seniors Health Card, or another card that certifies entitlement to Commonwealth health concessions.

The Supreme Court assesses each application based on these eligibility requirements, and a reduced filing fee may then apply to your probate matter.

At QLD Probate, we can assist with preparing this application as part of our fixed-fee probate legal services. Please contact our team for further details on probate costs in QLD.
